Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury is set to host a Thai Food Festival at its La Plage restaurant from October 25 to 29, 2023, featuring renowned chef Rosarin Sriprathum from The Sukhothai Bangkok. This event is a response to the growing interest in Asian cuisine among guests, following a successful exploration of Indian culinary traditions earlier this year.

Chef Rosarin, known for her expertise at the Celadon restaurant, will not only present a selection of dishes from her menu but will also share her culinary techniques with the Royal Palm kitchen team. Guests can look forward to an array of authentic Thai dishes, including steamed rice pancakes filled with crabmeat, crispy duck spring rolls, and marinated grilled pork neck, among others. Desserts will feature mango with sweet glutinous rice and a coconut bean pudding.

Having begun her culinary journey at just 20 years old, Chef Rosarin has spent over a decade honing her skills at prestigious establishments, including the Regent Bangkok and various international venues. Her approach to Thai cuisine is deeply rooted in family traditions, drawing on techniques passed down through generations.

Celadon, the restaurant where Chef Rosarin currently works, is celebrated for its elegant ambiance and authentic Thai flavors, recognized by the Michelin Guide. The restaurant's design reflects the Sukhothai era, enhancing the dining experience with views of lush gardens and a lotus pond.

Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury, located in Grand Baie, Mauritius, is known for its sophisticated atmosphere and commitment to exceptional hospitality. The hotel continues to evolve, recently undergoing renovations to enhance its natural beauty and guest experience. This festival promises to be a highlight for food enthusiasts and a testament to the hotel's dedication to culinary excellence.
