Bijin Omakase, a new hibachi restaurant, is set to ignite the culinary scene in Long Island City, Queens. The restaurant has secured a 15-year lease for a spacious 5,077-square-foot location at the base of Trio, a nine-story residential development owned by ZD Jasper Realty, situated at 27-19 Thomson Avenue. This area is known for its vibrant dining options and proximity to Jackson Avenue, making it an ideal spot for a new eatery.
The asking rent for the space was reported at $130 per square foot. The ground-floor space of the Thomson Avenue building was tailored to meet Bijin Omakase's specific needs as a hibachi concept. Gold noted that the restaurant had very particular physical requirements, which limited the options available in the market. This strategic choice not only highlights the restaurant's dedication to providing an authentic hibachi experience but also reflects the growing demand for diverse dining options in the area.
With its opening, Bijin Omakase is poised to become a notable addition to Long Island City's dining landscape, offering residents and visitors a chance to enjoy a unique hibachi experience in a modern setting.
